Kensington Quz Time

Ok, I know more than one store that stood on the corner of East Fourth and Church. Thats the South/West corner to be exact.
And all I could tell you is sometimes what I bought there was "music to my ears". But I know it was also something else besides that.

I can't remember the name of it, but I am sure it was a record store. (remember vinyl?!) and I seem to remember I think they also sold incense and maybe t-shirts too? (Kind of like the Plum Tree in Kings Plaza mall back in the day, if anyone remembers that store!)- Joe A.

I remember buying a 45 there - Roger Miller King of the Road. What year was that a hit??? I don't think that store lasted too long though. Jim C

It was called Ralph's Record Shop. Thin little guy, thick black hair, with glasses, open shirt and lots of chains. <:o

But he was a really sweet guy

I bought my first records here in 1964. 45's of "Oh Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison, and "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" by Manfred Mann, and many more in the next few years. Had a few shoe boxes filled with them lol. I remember it like it was yesterday.
